A young driver with success in the junior Finnish rally championship will get an invite to visit the German professional rally team and its functions, while also getting a chance to see German rally series action, with the support of RSD Finland. RSD Finland, with a team of volunteers, offers talented drivers and also professional mechanics a chance to go forward in their motorsports careers. For the Finnish drivers, a cooperation possibility opened up with the help of RSD Finland’s support driver Sami Sarjula and Raimo Skog, the chief of operations.

– During the ongoing competition season, I met Wallenwein Rallye Sport’s Mark in Saariselkä. He races himself and was very interested in collaborating not only by helping the mechanics with possible work trials, but also with talented Finnish drivers and their path forward. That is how this all began and now, early autumn, one of our drivers with travel to Germany to visit the team premises and get a closer look at how everything runs, while also getting a chance to see German rally action, Skog explains.

– Keeping an eye on the competition season 2015, Wallenwein team has Citroën R1 and R3 class rally cars and if everything goes as planned, one of our drivers could have an excellent chance to continue their developing career, Skog continues.
